His Dark Materials - Phill Pullman

I'm not going to do a proper review because this series wasn't on my reading list and I wasn´t planning to reading it. If you've seen the movie the Golden Compas you´ve probably heard about the book. And if you know more about it you probably know that it's filled with religious disputes. So years ago when the movie came out and I found out about it I decided to not read it because I thought it was gonna be filled with religious folishness. And I was right but I decided to read it anyway ignoring that stuff just because I liked the main character too much!! haha I mean, she's the perfect main character. Decided, not afraid, charismatic, a great leader and not afraid to face what it's in front of her. And then in the next book there comes a very intoxicating relationshipp with this boy Will that it's also a great character. In fact all books are filled with great characters!

But I must say that the third book is the best and the worst at the same time because it's filled with religious stuff that gets boring really quickly but it's the book that has the most romance between Lyra and Will. But at the end I was kinda dissapointed with the ending but whatever! It was a great moving to pass the time and it was great while I was reading it! So let's praise commercial page-turning books!!!!

Clueso

So he's my current obsession. He is a german singer and is known as Clueso. I had alredy posted a video about his song Gewinner and I'm still obsessed by it... And what it´s more surprising it's that after watching all those movies this week I couldn't remember anymore the beat of the song but I was dying to hear it again! So today I got the chance and I've spent this entire day hearing that same song over and over AND OVER AGAIN!!!! But it's so amazing that I haven´t got tired of it. I just keep looking at the video until I fall into some kind of trance. haha... okay! that's just too much obsession. I better listen to the song one thousand times more so I get bored of it and finally get it out of my brain!

Summer is here!

Now that summer is here I've been using this chance to use my shorts and skirts that have been hidden in my closet for a while now. And then I just spend the days watching all the movies I can think of. And also reading a little. haha... This are the movies that I've seen, if I remember allright...

Most of them were MUST seen that I hadn´t checked out before because I lacked the time, but I´m glad that I finally saw them. But I must admit that some of the best movies that I saw were animated. : )

I just found this look on me that I had forgotten about. I think I took it by december or something. I designed and made the skirt myself! I should have taken a better pic of it... this one is taking by cellphone and bad illumination... oh whatever! maybe I'll take a better one soon!!

The Princess Diaries

Okay, I´m so relieved that I just finished reading all ten book of this series plus extra stories which are A LOT!!! I congratulate myself! haha... But seriously there were times when I couldn't stand to keep reading but I did! but some normal sane person would've stopped reading at the middle of the series where it got most annoying. I was happy that the last two books turned out to be su much better than I expected. Maybe it was because she somehow madured and stopped being such a whiny child and it felt real somehow. I guess it helped when she started going to a psychologist and stopped hanging out with her annoying best friend. Then she stopped complaining about everything and stopped taking every little stupid thing so seriously. I loved the part when she got fashion sense and knowledge about how to act in public. haha! Now that I ended this I'll probably read another book, or read some blogs, or read some manga, but whatever I choose I'll probably have a good time because it involves reading. : )

BTW

I just have to make a little pause from reading the fouth book of the princess diaries. WHAT¨S UP WITH THIS BOOK??? I just can´t stand stupid teen books and a main character that goes all the time saying all the same things about how she is so stupid, ugly and STUPID!!! And how she has the worst life ever being a princess and all!! This is just so fucking stupid! and if you´re wondering if I hate it so much why don´t I just stop reading it? Then it´s because when I start to read something I HAVE to finish it! No matter how stupid and boring the book is! But it´s just a matter of fact with all this teen series with infinite sequels that as you go on reading and the number of sequels keeps growing they just keep getting worse and WORSE!!!!

Gewinner - Clueso

This is such a great song!!! seriously! and it´s even better with the video with the sun coming out and everything... I also think I have a little crush with the singer... haha

I´ve been reading all the books from the Princess Diaries from Meg Cabot. Totally entretaining but I hate the main character! : ( ...haha! And this afternoon I spent most of my time studying psychology.... lame..... But at least I´m happy because my summer holiday is coming! yay! 

Franny and Zooey

Amazon´s Review: Franny is an intellectually precocious late adolescent who tries to attain spiritual purification by obsessively reiterating the "Jesus prayer" as an antidote to the perceived superficiality and corruptness of life. She subsequently suffers a nervous breakdown. In the second story, her next older brother, Zooey, attempts to heal Franny by pointing out that her constant repetition of the "Jesus prayer" is as self-involved and egotistical as the egotism against which she rails. -- The Merriam-Webster Encyclopedia of Literature.
Personal Opinion: At first I decided to read this book because it was written by J.D.Salinger and I have always liked the way he developes characters showing their mental conflicts. The book in itself it´s very  good it deals about many phylosophical issues so don't expect some heart-breaking story. It shows how the character view the world and all the people in it and it may seem like they think they are way superior but the book's also about how they struggled with their upbringing in a "weird family" and how they felt about their older brother who passed away. They both are very troubled but Zooey decides to help Franny in her mental breakdown. It turns a little toward religious themes specially a lot of Budhism so read this if you´re not bothered by that.haha

MY Rating: 6/10

Summer!

Today I went to some sort of "festival" that included water fights and then just chilling out under the sun while listening to a band where my friends played. They have gotten really awesome!!! and then I just spent more time chilling out with my friends just talking and feeling the breeze while we stuffed ourselves with food and ate ice-cream. yummy!

Right now I'm just reading some really weird stories (manga) and thinking what book to read next. And while I do that I'm just listening Einslive Webradio! I really love all the songs from that radio!!! And the reason I´m listening to radio when I never do is probably because I got tired to go around spending a lot of time selecting what songs I was going to be listening to later. haha.... I'm so lazy..... : P
