If I stay

You know how I love to read books that make me cry and this is definitely one that has made me cry a lot! altough I didn't cry as much as when I read the Time Traveler´s Wife. The book is named If I Stay and is written by Gayle Gayman.

It's about a girl that is in a coma after an accident where she lost all her family and she's looking everything from a perspective and she has to decide whether she goes or carries on living. I just finished reading it but before that I watched Blue Valentine that it's also a very sad movie... : ( But it's cute and the music is nice!

The actress is the same one from the movie Never Let Me Go which is also nice but very sad...

Oh! and I almost forgot to tell you that last week my dad bought me an amazing book from Haruki Murakami! It´s South of the Border, West of the Sun.

The Books Of Ember

 Okay, I really liked all of these books except the third one, I didn´t even open it! haha But the first one really draws you in. It´s really fun to see the point of view of a girl in a possible future. I think all the books are filled with critics of our modern society and the best part it´s that they find a solution to our most basic problems in this story. Of course, it´s all fiction but somehow it makes you wonder about how we act in our society. Honestly, by seeing some of the things we think as normal being questioned in the book it makes some things we think are important feel really stupid and meaningless. For example, the reason we go into great wars, like how the interest of a few power-hungry people create war and get a lot of people killed every year.
It also makes you appreciate all the wonders we actually have, and if for example, some kind of armagedon happened tomorrow, would we be qualified to keep living? would we know how to create all of our useful artifacts from scratch? I think that must of us don´t even know how to create the most basic machines to sustain our life! We would probably go back to how we were in the past.... scary!!

A quick update: I´ve been readin this book from Dante and it´s really weird for me to say so but this is one of the most boring books ever!!!
This week I read two books by Lourie Handerson. They both are very touching and definitely YA novels. But they are depressing as hell, but gladly they are very short books!!

Wild World

I´m about to got to bed, my routine this days it´s wake up early, feel bad about my hair, go to school, come back to my house, read a couple of books while listening to music and then go to sleep. This only changes in fridays and the weekend. Btw, this song is so amazing. It was the ending song of season 1 of Skins. amazing!!!!

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Oh yeah! I forgot, this is the one of the best books EVER!!!!!

And I watched Flipped and The Lovely Bones and many others that I don't remember right now.

Stormy days

Days seem so depressing and dull lately. I don`t if you remember but some couple of weeks ago I decided to cut my hair drastically and now I kind of hate how it looks.... The truth is that I didn`t pay much thought to what kind of hairstyle I wanted so I ended up with and old-styled haircut that I totally hate but other people love... And it would look better if I curled it in the morning or something but I just don`t take the time because I`m lazy and I know it`ll be wet in the afternoon when it rains. It`s so depressing that it rains all the time and then my days seem kind of boring because I can´t seem to find a good book. I´ve read most of Sarah Dessen books.

I don't know, I just feel really bad so I'm just reading crappy books, sometimes I just can't stand being at home with my mom bodly saying she don't likes me at all and insulting me all the bloody time.... But I've been listening to good music!!!

bah... it's so boring to go to school again... I just spend most of my time sleeping there.... the good thing is that I arrive at my house to read cool stuff and hear even better stuff! For example right now I'm really obsessed with the song "Jejune Stars" from Bright Eyes.

This song it's so coooool!!! I just don't get tired from listening to it! and I love his voice. And then I had the awesome idea of hearing all the album from this song and it's called The People's Key and now it's definitely one of my favorites albums togheter with Moscow Olympics.
