Trylle Trilogy

I kinda promised to do a quick review of this series so here it is!

Well... first of all this series are from the teenage paranormal genre that have appeared after all the conmotion with all the vampire stuff. What I like from this kind of books are that they have such a simple language so after you start reading you just flow through all the books and when you least expect it you´ve finished all of them. But they´re not exactly like the twilight stuff, mainly because it´s about trolls and it gots mythology instead of just focusing on the girl and the paranormal boy so that´s really nice. Also, its not just one dreamy boy but many dreamy boys ("foxy" it´s what the author would call them, haha...! funny word).

It also focuses on all the identity problems of the main character and deep feelings of the characters. But most important! it´s not your normal paranormal fairytale because it has "interesting developments" on the love life of Wendy (the main character). The only thing that I didn´t like is the attitude she has about some developments through the book.

I won´t talk any more about it or I´ll spoil your reading. haha

My Rating: 9/10 (worth light reading, i´ll assure you won´t be able to leave the book alone)

Lazy Sunday

Just a quick update. I just came back from the country. It felt so good to just lazy around, reading, lying below the sun, sleeping, and eating nice stuff... : ) I´m recharged for another week!

Chop and Change

Great song!! didn´t know that it was on the soundtrack of Eclipse... Haven´t done much today after all it´s my last relaxed day before I start doing a lot of stuff during the whole year... *sigh* well... I was the one that I decided to do all that stuff so I´m just gonna quit whinning!

I just finished reading Stolen by Lucy Christopher and started reading Switched  by Amanda Hocking from the Trylle Trilogy. They´re not amazing, they´re just light action and romance novels... maybe I´ll do some reviews later on, if I feel like it.... haha

Actually I´m currently obsessed with the song A Year Without Rain from Selena Gomez and I know it´s totally dissapointing but my brain can´t get rid of it so I´m actually listening to it all that I can until I get sick of it. haha!! hope it works.... : P
                           

Totoro

This movie brings back childhood memories... : ) When I was small I stumbled on it on the tv and was immediatly mesmerized by it. I remember that I didn´t know the name of the movie but I had that song in my head for years and I always wanted to see it again. I probably thought that I´d see it again in the future...

I´m so happy it came true!!!

Whip My Hair

OMG!!! This song is so addictive and when I think I´m through with it I suddenly hear everyone singing it everywhere and BAM! it´s back on my head again.

Right now I´m listening it continously until I get tired of it... haha... btw I didn´t know she was the daughter of Will Smith and I also thought that this song was old but it turns out that it came out on october of the past year! weird... I´m going crazy...

Haha... I´ve been super busy doing homework and stuff! sure... that was a lie btw but after school I´m kinda tired so I just want to lie down, watch tv or read manga so I don´t take much time to remember that I have a blog. : P

I got a bit of a book frenzy again after visiting a super cool bookstore so I´ll probaly post some books on the coming weeks!!! btw they´re not from my previous list so I´m not moving forward at all I think... I say I think because probably I read some book from the list but I didn´t remember that it was in it. haha

This is the cursed game I was just playing. It´s horrible!!! It´s one of the hardest games I´ve ever played! It´s really difficult to make that little guy move! The goal is to run 100 meters and I only reached the 20 meter mark crawling around and then only reached 6 meters running properly. But.. oh! the glory when you´re able to advance forward! you can almost hear the trumpets from heaven... haha

So my music recommendation of the day it´s "Moscow Olympics"!!

I´m so fucking angry and sad at the same time!!! But I´m just going to say there are very hypocrite and stupid people that only wish you evil but believe they are sooo fucking good!!! It seems like the world is upside down by how stupid everyone is acting around me! I would go perfectly crazy if it wasn´t for my friends...

This is one of the few things that made me happy today, it´s Lady Gaga´s remix of her new song from the coming album "Born this way". This was the remix used Thierry Mugler fashion show and I can´t wait to hear the original one...

But honestly, I liked more the old songs of Lady Gaga that you could find in youtube before she became famous and then retitled The Monster. They had such a feeling... like Brown Eyes and Paparazzi that still had amazing lyrics but the ones like Alejandro and this one are like nonsensical words put togheter by a great beat, BUT WHAT A GREAT BEAT!!!

Awww... At first, I watched this video thanks to Ray William Johnson and thought it was really cute and today I found it again in Fokis blog. It´s destiny that I decided to show it to you so you could also sucumb to the cuteness of this video! : D

Movie Weekend

If you remember I started school this week and it´s really fun! Not the teachers and stuff but the fact that I can hang out with my friends all the time :D :D This are the movies that I alredy watched and the ones I will watch: haha

"Man som hatar kvinnor" or The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo from the Millenium trilogy, it´s the swedish version so I´m using it to get used to the swedish pronunciation. (really hate that they´re making an american remake...)

I decided to watch Twilight, New moon and Eclipse togheter with my sister, they proved to be very boring and so I skipped the fighting parts haha, in short they´re nothing compared to Anne Rice´s stories. I mean, the guy Jacob almost spends all the movie with his shirt off and Edward is such a pussy for not wanting Bella to become a vampire! lame...

Today I´ll watch the extended version of Avatar with my brother and then I´ll watch The Social Network after that I´ll feel much better! after all it was named the best movie of the year!!! If I have time I´ll watch The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet´s Nest and if I don´t have time I´ll watch it tomorrow.

I just love the character of Lisbeth Salander and it´s the first time someone famous has the same name as me!! so nice! And I´ll repeat myself saying that I absolutely hate that they´re making a remake of this series.

 Then finally I´ll watch this one! haha.... and yes I´m doing my school´s homework even though I almost never do it haha...

Livingston, Guatemala

This is Puerto Barrios were we took the ferry that took us to Livingston.

This is the view of Livingston from the ferry and you can see the main port and some hotels.

I was very shocked when I discovered this cocodrile in the park of the town. They keep two cocodriles there to show them to the tourists. Shameless....

This is a photo I took at dawn. Actually there is a story behind this photo because actually I don´t get up so early but the previous night some Italian gut mistook my room from his, of course it was very late and he was coming back from partying all night after all there are a lot of places to party at night! At the end I couldn´t sleep well and ended up waking up early and then I remembered that I could take a photo of the sunrise!

The night life it´s very exciting! There was this bar that I went to were there was some rastaman behind the bar that had a great vibe and danced along with reggae songs like the ones from Bob Marley.

I just love white sand...

Btw, this is the best food ever!!! It´s honestly the best I tasted in the whole town! The one in the photo isn´t as good as the one I tasted from some lady in the street though, but she only sells at night and I was leaving that day... : (

At the end it was an amazing trip! the beautiful beaches, great food, and nice people! There were this garifuna kids in the ferry that loved to dance and even danced when we arrived to our destination, they dance at every moment!

I´m Back

I´m back and ready to face a new year! I´ll post the photos in a few days.

Btw, I hope I don´t get sick by the sudden climate change.

Family Force 5

So.. this is a band that´s really popular on the US, I guess I like it due to it´s great vibe and energy. I think they´re like alternative rock or something. So this is like my recommendation of the day.

Btw, I know that the video is SHIT!! And it even turns out that they are a christian band but Oh Whatever!... the songs still sound great!

Good News!

I´ll be gone for a few days on vacation to Livingston, Izabal. I´ll leave for a few days so don´t worry! haha But they´re some much needed vacations before I start school again and I´ll be back just when it´s time to enter!

This is a photo of the place, so nice! I hope it´s really warm! I read that during this season the temperature is around 19º to 30º so it´s looking good! I´ll post some pictures when I get back.

Right now I´ll get back to getting ready all my stuff for school because I won´t have time when I get back. Seeya ; )

BTW...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! and yes I know it´s a bit late... haha I haven´t done anything interesting lately maybe just eating a lot of junk food for new year. : D But something good happened! as it turns out that I´m better with little kids now (I always used to drop them or make them cry but don´t get alarmed because they were never badly hurt.. haha)

Yesterday I saw the movie of Never Let Me Go and it turned out very good! specially because it´s very like the movie even more emotional!

And what a great trailer!
I´m actually a bit sad because my winter vacations are ending soon, actually in a week! so scary... Oh! and I also found in my ipod a song I had forgotten but it´s really good so I decided to share it with you.
